UFC White House is approaching with every passing day and is no more than 6 months away. Its hype is skyrocketing with every passing day, and the progressive, updated, and hot news are starting to be revealed by officials. The fans are expecting the first featured fighter and matchup of the great UFC White House Fight Card. But for UFC’s officials, logistics is a bigger concern compared to announcing matchups and fighters.
Although no estimated cost for the event has been announced by any UFC officials or the Trump administration, Dana previously revealed an estimated cost of $700,000 to replace the South Lawn. However, there are some additions to the available logistics information for the UFC White House Event. Dana revealed UFC will pay entirely for White House card taking place this summer and will not ask for the taxpayer funds to cover offset costs.
In his interview with TNT Sports, White reveals that the UFC White House Card’s cost will easily surpass the record cost of UFC 306: Las Vegas Sphere. He explained his plan to showcase the White House as the backdrop without using large screens or advertising visuals. When asked about whether UFC will cover the entire cost or if taxpayers’ funds will be tapped, he said:
“No, we’re eating the whole thing. So yeah, it’s going to be a historic one-of-one fight, and just like I talked about with the Sphere, we’re going to make the Sphere look like f***ing ash tray money. “What the Sphere costs is like chump change that you throw on your ashtray compared to what this is gonna cost. There’s a laundry list of challenges.
He added:
“I’ve been to the White House a million times, and I get a lot of leeway there. Everybody knows I’m not there to hurt anybody. The only thing I wanna see is the White House. And then when the fight goes the other way, the Washington Monument. Those are the only two things I wanna see.”
