Since the announcement of the UFC White House Event, multiple UFC stars have shown their keen interest. Among them, Jon Jones and Conor McGregor are prominent. Jon Jones, who retired a month earlier before the announcement of the UFC White House Event, reversed his retirement decision to be in this greatest card. Although UFC‘s CEO Dana White has shown no interest in including him in the card, Jonny Bones is doing everything he needs to do, even pleading.

Now, Jon’s hope skyrocketed since Eric Trump, son of President Donald Trump, shared his thoughts about the UFC White House Event and named three fighters he would like to see in the Octagon on June 14. While talking on Full Send Podcast, Eric Trump said:

“I mean, Jon Jones has to fight. I would love to see him… I feel like he has one left in him, and if there’s ever one you’re going to do, it’s the White House. I think you’re going to see McGregor at that one. I know McGregor pretty well; he’s a great guy. There’s so much talent there right now.”

He added:

“We have to have a good American showing on America’s birthday at the White House… We’ve become pretty close to Bo Nickal; he’s a hell of a fighter. This kid was undefeated at Penn State, a true American champ who goes into the octagon and starts knocking people’s heads off… I’d like to see a couple of American kids who did really well in college, at the good American state schools.”

Although Dana White has not shown any willingness to include Jon Jones in the greatest UFC White House Card until now, this support from Eric Trump has boosted Jon’s confidence for being in the event. Meanwhile, Eric is one of those key people involved in the UFC White House Event preparation.

On the other hand, Eric also boosts the hopes of Conor McGregor and Bo Nickal. McGregor is very confident to be on the card from the very first day since the announcement, and has said it’s a done deal and he is negotiating with Donald Trump for $100 million fight. While Bo Nickal also announced earlier that he had a done deal with President Donald Trump, and he wants to see me in the White House Card. However, Dana has said it’s too early to reach a final decision, and no matchup will be decided until February 2026.
