Will Jon Jones Join the UFC White House Event?

Jon Jones is a former UFC Heavyweight champion who competed in the Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight divisions of UFC before retiring earlier this year in June. He was the heavyweight champion from 2023 to 2025 before his retirement. However, the UFC White House Event in 2026, hosted by President Trump, sparked hopes in many fighters, including Jon Jones and Conor McGregor. They see this event as their potential return to the Ocatogon.

Jon Jones, also known by his nickname ‘Bones’, possibly made a U-turn from retirement as it was announced that a UFC event will take place in White House in 2026. In a tweet, Jon said, “he was optimistic about the possibility of being part of the historical White House Event. He added that, despite the odds, he continues to train. However, at the end of the day, Dana is the boss, and it’s his call whether I will be a part of it or not.

While ‘Bones’ is optimistic about his entrance to the event, Dana has some other plans for him. On The Zach Gelv Podcast, Dana White reveals that Bones sent him an apology text. However, DANA said, “If you ask about the possibility of Jones being considered as a potential player for the UFC White House Event, it’s a definite ‘NO’. He added, “He needs people he can count on for the show!”
