McGregor is Negotiating with Trump for $100 M Fight at White House Event, bypassing UFC

The former UFC champion, Conor McGregor, has claimed that he has been negotiating with President Trump, rather than the UFC, for a potential fight at the UFC White House Event.

McGregor has been expressing a keen interest in a bout at the UFC White House Event, which has been scheduled for next summer to coincide with the 250th anniversary of the United States. The event has also been confirmed by the CEO, Dana White, who has posted renderings of the event on his Instagram. McGregor has been insisting that a bout with Michael Chandler, his long-time rival, should be placed on the White House Card. 

To make this happen, McGregor claimed he has bypassed the UFC and is in talks with President Trump for the potential bout in the historic event. He said, 

“I’m not negotiating with the UFC on behalf of myself for this fight like usual. I’m negotiating with the United States of America on behalf of Ireland for this fight. It’s a peculiar one. Trump and the administration have been fully supportive and backing, and I cannot wait to put on a show.”

This does not end here, as McGregor said he will also earn $100 million upon his return to the Octagon at the White House Event. McGregor via X told,

“$100 million to fight at the White House, along with 100 US ‘Golden Visas’ for myself, family, and friends. I look forward to entertaining the fighting world once again. A pleasure I never take for granted!”

The former champion is much more confident about his fight at the event, as he added,

“I have so much aggression built up that I must release. I will throw harder and more venomously than I have ever thrown before. I have been punching way harder in my most recent preparative efforts, and I delight in the thought of doing it live again.”
