What is UFC Freedom 250?

UFC Freedom 250, also known as UFC White House Event, is an upcoming mixed martial arts event organized by the Ultimate Fighting Championship, commonly known as UFC. The event is scheduled to take place on June 14, 2026, on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C., United States of America. This event will take place on the occasion of America’s 250th Anniversary, coinciding with Flag Day and Trump’s 80th birthday. The weigh-ins for the event are expected to take place at the Lincoln Memorial.

U.S. President Donald Trump initially announced the event on 3rd July 2025, during a rally in Iowa. While addressing his supporters at the rally, the president said:

“Does anybody watch UFC? The great Dana White. We’re going to have a UFC fight on the grounds of the White House. We have a lot of land there. Dana’s going to do it. Dana’s great, one of a kind. We’re going to have a UFC fight, a championship fight, like full fight, 20, 25,000 people, and we’re going to do that as part of 250 also.”

The CEO of UFC, Dana White, has also confirmed (via Social Media) that the White House Event will happen in 2026.

UFC Freedom 250 Date – When is the UFC White House Event?

Initially, the UFC White House Card Date was July 4th, 2026, as suggested by Donald Trump. But due to logistical reasons, the event has been moved to June 14, 2026, on America’s 250th Anniversary Flag Day.

Event Size – Attendance

President Trump initially suggested around 25,000 fans; however, Dana confirms the number will be reduced to under 5,000 due to security concerns.  Moreover, he suggested setting up large screens in nearby President’s Park South (The Ellipse) that can host up to 85,000 spectators. In February 2026, TKO Holding’s CEO, Ari Emanuel, confirmed that 3,000-4,000 attendees would attend the event.
